Location
Situated on the gorgeous white sand beach in the heart of Gulf Shores, our location is within easy walking distance of popular restaurants, markets and shops, and the main City beach where popular festivals and events are held.
Physical Structure
Construction of Seawind Condominiums was completed in 2006, consisting of 155 beachfront condominiums varying in size from 1130 to 1831 square feet. Floor plans range from 2 bedrooms, 2 baths with a bonus room used by most owners as a bunk room, to 3 bedroom, 3 bath units.
The complex consists of a 20-story tower which includes a penthouse level with larger units, and a 6 story clubhouse building that includes four large condos and other amenities described below. The first three floors of the tower provide covered parking and climate controlled elevator lobbies, while outdoor parking is available for oversized passenger vehicles.
Amenities
The clubhouse building houses:
- the large, well equipped fitness room with Gulf views
- a dry sauna
- the indoor portion of the indoor/outdoor heated pool
- an owners lounge, and
- an office for the onsite manager.
Other amenities include:
- a large hot tub with Gulf views
- a zero-entry splash pool with fun water features for the kids
- a grilling area, and
- beach access walkways with showers/sprayers available for removing sand and salt water as you return from the beach
Water Sports & Beach Loungers
Onsite vendors provide beach loungers and umbrellas for rent, jet ski rentals, banana boat rides and parasailing.
Convenient Dining
Dining is available right on our beach at the popular Sea-N-Suds Restaurant & Oyster Bar. Within walking distance you’ll find additional beachfront dining at The Hangout and the Pink Pony Pub. Other restaurants and options for breakfast are also just steps away.
Vending / Specialty Market
Onsite vending is available for bagged ice, bottled water, and a variety of soft drinks and energy drinks. A specialty market is right across the street for any last-minute items you may need.
Proud Owner Community
Seawind owners are very welcoming and helpful to one another. The Board of Directors hosts a monthly social for owners who are in town, and many develop enduring friendships.
