Yes. At least one person in your party staying in each condo needs to be 25 or older. Pets are not allowed.  Seawind is a non-smoking facility, including in the units, on the balconies and when using amenities. We do have a covered designated smoking area.

Each condo at Seawind is individually owned and either managed by the owner or by one of several rental management companies.  You would need to find a condo you are interested in and check directly with the booking agent as to cancellation policies.

Yes, Seawind features an indoor/outdoor heated pool, a large hot tub with Gulf views, and a zero-entry kid’s pool with whimsical water features.  A dry sauna is also available in the fitness room.

Seawind offers beautiful sugar sand beaches and clear water that are great for swimming or enjoying other water activities.  Visitors are urged to heed beach condition warning flags that can indicate dangerous surf and/or riptide conditions and occasionally dangerous marine life in the area, typically jellyfish.  Always be aware of your own capabilities and avoid swimming alone if possible.

Yes, Seawind offers one of the largest, best equipped fitness rooms in Gulf Shores, with awesome Gulf views.  A dry sauna and showers are also available.  You can get in a good walk or run along the beach, or along Beach Boulevard and the Public Beach boardwalk.  There is also an extensive network of biking/hiking trails in the area.

No, smoking is not allowed in the common areas, the pool or other amenities, the condos or on the balconies.  There is a designated, covered smoking area next to the exit to the parking structure.

No, our rental units do not allow pets.  Only bona fide service animals are allowed, but that does not include emotional support animals.  By City ordinance, pets are not allowed on area beaches either.

Alcohol is not allowed on PUBLIC beaches of Gulf Shores at any time.  At Seawind, alcohol is not allowed on the beach during spring break.  Glass containers are NEVER allowed on any beach, nor in or around our pools and amenities.

A parking pass is required for all vehicles remaining on the property overnight. You should obtain a maximum of two parking passes from whoever manages the unit you rent.

Only typical passenger vehicles are allowed to park at the complex. No campers, RVs, boats, commercial vehicles or trailers of any kind may be parked on the property.

Please be considerate of others and don’t park over or on the lines separating parking spaces.

This is a personal choice, but it is possible to enjoy your stay at Seawind without a vehicle.  For groceries, there is a specialty market right across the street, and a Dollar General is approximately a half mile away.  There are several restaurants, shops and entertainment venues within an easy half mile walk.

At this time, the City of Gulf Shores does not offer public transportation.  Taxis, shuttle services and ride share services operate in the area.

No RVs, boats, trailers, or other oversized vehicles may be parked at Seawind.

There is a small specialty market right across the street and a Dollar General is approximately a half mile away.  There are a number of specialty and gift shops within a half mile that offer beach gear, clothing, souvenirs and other items.  For spirits there is a package store less than a quarter mile away.

A Waffle House is immediately across the street and the popular Sea-n-Suds beachfront restaurant is right in front of Seawind.  Within a half mile you’ll find the Island Pancake House, Hooters, Gulf Island Grill, Pink Pony Pub, the Hangout, the Sunline Grill and Mikee’s Seafood, Crico’s Pizza & Subs, Picnic Beach, the Shrimp Basket, the Steamer Baked Oyster Bar.

If you are looking for water sports, we have an onsite vendor that offers, jet ski rentals, parasailing and banana boat rides.  The Hangout, one of the most popular entertainment venues in Gulf Shores and host to the hugely popular annual Hangout Fest, is approximately a half mile away.  In season, live music is featured.  Shrimpy’s Grill and Golf, for the putt-putt enthusiasts, is also a short walk away.  The City of Gulf Shores main beach, the site of  popular events and entertainment, is just a half mile away.

No, Seawind does not have facilities for private meetings or events.

Yes, surf fishing is allowed in Gulf Shores with the appropriate licenses.  These can easily be obtained online at this link:

You may have a wedding ceremony on Seawind’s beach with some constraints.  No area of the beach may be blocked off reserving space for your ceremony.  No altar or other structure may be erected on the beach.  Chairs for wedding guests are allowed but must not be put in place more than an hour before your ceremony, and must be removed immediately after.  Your ceremony must not be set up between other beach goers and the waterline, or otherwise disrupt the enjoyment of the beach by others.
